After spending 16 years in the United States of America, Islam Manasra decided to return to Palestine and join the Solutions team in 2016 in order to utilize the education and experience he gained for the benefit of the Palestinian people. Islam Manasra is an attorney and consultant who has worked professionally since 2014. He intends to use his knowledge in the areas of economics, law, and international trade for the purpose of supporting economic development in Palestine.
During 2014 and 2015, Islam Manasra worked as an advisor at the Office of Audit and Management advisory services at the University of California at Davis. There, he performed full scope financial, operational, functional, investigative, and compliance consultation. Additionally, he examined and analyzed performance of organizations, policies, procedures, and administrative practices. During law school, Islam worked as an extern at the Office of the Staff Attorneys at the United States of American Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Furthermore, he worked as a certified attorney at the Sacramento District Attorney's Office and UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic.
Islam Manasra holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from the University of California at Davis. The focus of his graduation paper revolved around international trade and dispute resolution. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2014. Furthermore, Islam holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. The focus of his studies revolved around economic development in the 20th century and economic inequality. Islam is extremely excited about working on projects that advance Palestinian businesses and support economic development in Palestine.
